GROTON — The Groton Complete Streets Committee confirmed its Main Street Corridor Study draft arrived from consultant MDM and set October 23 to begin substantive review. Members voted 5-0 twice to approve minutes from July 17 and August 21, 2026. Member Peter Cunningham, also a Select Board member, said the roughly 180-page draft becomes "a public document" once distributed to the committee.

Member Takashi Tada said the town's MDM contract requires the firm to join at least one public information session. Separately, member Brian Callahan reported grant-project bid paperwork is nearly ready, expected to go out within one to two weeks, and said informal talks continue with Groton Hill Music Center, represented by CEO Lisa Fiorentino and Director of Operations Matt Malachowski, over bicycle access near Temple Drive.
