He was born in Ayer on February 2, 1941, the son of Edward J. and Fern (Moore) Halleran, and grew up in Ayer. He is survived by his wife, Nancy C. Halleran (Cramer); three sons, Matthew E. Halleran (Amy) of North Tustin, California, Justin A. Halleran, and Timothy M. Halleran; his sister, Cynthia Lissfelt of Hingham; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Nathaniel, and Abigail Halleran. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a funeral service Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM, both at Anderson Funeral Home, Ayer.
