Groton Select Board Approves GrotonfFest License and Cannabis Agreement Amendment

GROTON — July 11, 2022 — Groton Select Board takes four unanimous actions at July 11 meeting. The board, meeting without member Becky Pine, approved a one-day all-alcohol license requested by the Groton Business Association for GrotonfFest at Legion Common on September 24, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and ratified seven town manager appointments including full-time dispatcher James Landy, part-time dispatcher Shayla Watson, grounds staffer David Trudel, and lifeguards Nicholas Scarano, Sierra Quinty, Oliver Erz, Ryan Donahue, and Reagan Donahue. The board also approved a series of FY2022 line-item budget transfers and amended its Community Host Agreement with cannabis cultivator New England Craft Cultivators, changing the listed operating address from 777 Boston Road to 1 Forge Village Road.
