Groton Deeds Show $321,000-to-$1.26 Million Range as Family Trust Transfers Dominate Recordings
Groton recorded 17 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only five carry a sale price so far, ranging from $321,000 to $1,262,000 with a median of $675,000. The period's top sale was 22 Chamberlains Mill Lane at $1,262,000, sold by Mark Itterman to Joseph N. and Donna C. Vaudo. Roughly 10 of the 17 recorded deeds show the same or related names as both seller and buyer, consistent with transfers into or within family trusts. Most transfers, including both on Martins Pond Road and both on Gratuity Road, have no price on file yet, which is normal for recently recorded deeds.
