Sewer Commission · Meeting of March 30, 2026
Groton's Sewer Commission forecast a $77,000 income surplus and began planning grinder pump outage reminders for homeowners. Business Manager Lauren Corey said Center Sewer rate income was about $22,000 over budget and miscellaneous income about $54,000 over, with roughly $90,000 in expenses unspent. She estimated an FY27 starting balance near $685,000 and about $330,000 available in Four Corners after future Ayer payments.
Commissioners discussed inventorying grinder pumps, which fail without power, and sending owners a one-page guide. They approved a $198.99 abatement for Dakota Orthodontics after a toilet leak doubled its bill to 38 units.
