Sewer Commission · Meeting of March 11, 2026

GROTON — The Sewer Commission discussed grinder pump outage risks and a Ballston request. Chair Jim Geminer, Vice Chair Eric Berg and Business Manager Lauren Quarry agreed to build a list of properties on grinder pumps, including many along Route 119, Old Ayer Road and O'Neill Way, after discussing hazard mitigation planning. The public hazard mitigation meeting is March 24 at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.

Quarry said a $20,000 transfer placeholder was zeroed out because $25,000 from the fall for engineering services went unspent. Members also reviewed Pepperell flow data, discussed a wage split with the water department and approved the Feb. 17 minutes.
